Itinerary:

DAY 1: Depart the USA
Depart the USA for Italy. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2: Arrive in Italy, Transfer to Montecatini
Arrive in Florence and transfer to your hotel in Montecatini. Balance of the day at leisure. Tonight, enjoy a welcome cocktail and orientation meeting with your tour escort, followed by a welcome dinner. Overnight: Montecatini Meals: Dinner

DAY 3: Tour of Lucca & Pisa, Evening Cooking Demonstration
Start the day with a tour of Lucca, one of the most fascinating towns in Tuscany. Walk the narrow streets of the original Roman grid to San Michele and its beautiful piazza, which occupies the site of the ancient Roman Forum. Continue to Pisa. Walk the quaint streets of this Old Mariner Republic and enjoy the medieval arcades of the Borgo Pio, along with views of the city's famed university that fostered Italy's many Nobel Prize winners. View the famous Piazza del Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and Duomo. In the afternoon, return to Montecatini. This evening, enjoy a cooking demonstration and dinner of the local specialties.

DAY 4: Full Day in Montecatini, Evening Dinner at Tuscan Vineyard
Today is free to explore Montecatini on your own. This evening, depart for a Tuscan farm in the countryside. Enjoy a tour of the farm's vineyards before settling in for a rustic Tuscan Paesana dinner, including wine and olive oil tastings.

Optional: Cinque Terre Tour $89: Visit the spectacular Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful areas of the Liguria region. Here, five small villages are suspended between sea and earth, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea, set beside hills where the land's finest wine grapes are grown. Return to Montecatini.

DAY 5: Full Day in Montecatini
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Montecatini.
Overnight: Montecatini Meals: Breakfast

Optional: Full Day Florence from Montecatini $69: This morning, travel to Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. On arrival, walk to the Duomo and Baptistery to view Ghiberti's "Gates of Paradise," whose south door quatrefoils feature scenes from the life of John the Baptist. Continue to visit the Accademia where you will view Michelangelo's David. From here, visit the open air art museum of Signoria Square, with its beautiful statues and landmark Ponte Vecchio, the "Old Bridge." Return to Montecatini.

DAY 6: Travel to Sorrento
Depart Montecatini via motor coach for Sorrento, a charming coastal town overlooking the Bay of Naples. Continue along the "Sun Route," passing the famous Montecassino Abbey, and enjoy the stunning panorama of the Sorrentine coast before reaching the colorful town of Sorrento. Overnight: Sorrento Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 7: Tour of the Amalfi Coast
Today, drive the world-famous Amalfi route and admire panoramic views of the enchanting towns along the Mediterranean coast. Pass the distinctive white Moorish homes of Positano on this legendary road to reach the coastal town of Amalfi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight: Sorrento Meals: Breakfast

Optional: Lemon Farm Tour $39: Visit a picturesque lemon farm in the countryside. Beyond citrus, the farm also produces authentic mozzarella cheese. Enjoy a chance to see how the real thing is made, as well as an opportunity to taste a sample of the farm's delicious products.

DAY 8: Full Day in Sorrento
Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Sorrento on your own. This evening, enjoy farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Optional: Naples & Pompeii Tour $59: After breakfast, travel to Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route, enjoy a scenic view of Mt. Vesuvius and Bay of Naples. Arriving in Pompeii, visit the ruins of this best preserved Roman city, including the Temples of Apollo, Jupiter and the Forum. In the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic tour of Naples that includes Santa Lucia, Castel dell' Ovo, the French fortress, Piazza Plebiscito and the Royal Palace, before returning to your hotel in Sorrento.

DAY 9: Depart for the USA
