Our first stop is in Heidelberg located on the Neckar River. The charming town of Heidelberg houses the oldest university in Germany (600 years old) and the historic Heidelberg Castle situated high on a hill overlooking the city. Then, you’re off for a ride through the magical "Black Forest" where you will stay in a charming "Bavarian” style hotel. You will also visit Strasbourg the capital of France's Alsace-a bit German and a lot French. Here you can stroll the ancient cobblestone streets of LaPetite France, sample some of the wonderful local cuisine, or wander thru the wonderful shops. Then,
it's off to the lovely city of Lucerne, located on Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. Be sure not to miss this wonderful trip!

Day 1 - USA/Frankfurt: -Depart Newark this evening on your overnight flight. Enroute enjoy a dinner followed with a late release movie. Before arrival breakfast will be served onboard.

Day 2 - Frankfurt/Heidelberg: On arrival, your tour guide will meet you for the short drive to Heidelberg, less than an hour south of Frankfurt. Your "home" here is, to say the least, a memorable experience. The Hotel Ibis Heidelberg is in a central location. Take a stroll in the town and enjoy a coffee in one of the inviting cafes before joining your group for a welcome drink before dinner tonight which is at a charming old town restaurant in Heidelberg (D)

Day 3 – Heidelberg: After a hearty German breakfast buffet, you head out to the charming town of Heidelberg famous for “the Student Prince” located on the Neckar River. You will see the Heidelberg Castle located on a hill set among several Renaissance towers and turrets. Day 4 – Heidelberg / Waldau: After another buffet breakfast, you bid farewell to Heidelberg and begin your drive south towards Waldau, an idyllic village in the heart of the Black Forrest. Sit back and relax, and savor the spectacular scenery that the Black Forest has to offer. You will agree this forest with its density of pine trees so tall and so erect allows no sunshine to penetrate through them; thus making it such a dark forest that one can easily understand why it was named The Black Forest! After a lunch stop (not included) you will continue on to your lovely home for the next three nights – the typical Bavarian Hotel, Traube Titisee-Neustadt, which is nestled in the mountains of the Black Forest. (B, D)

Day 5 - Waldau / Strasbourg: After a typical Bavarian style buffet breakfast, you leave for Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace, France. Your highlights are the splendid red sandstone cathedral, regarded as one of the top five in Europe, the European Parliament, the old Customs House, City Hall, La Petite France and more. Enjoy some free time to explore this lovely city on your own. The return drive is through the lush vineyards and charming medieval villages of Alsace’s wine route. Stop at a local winery for a wine tasting before returning to your hotel for dinner. (B, D)

Day 6 – Waldau / Lake Titisee: After a hearty Bavarian breakfast, you depart for Lake Titisee in the heart of the Black Forest, surrounded by a dark fir forest, fairy-tale woods and flowering meadows. For many, Lake Titisee is the prettiest lake in all the Black Forest. You will board a pleasure boat for a relaxing, scenic ride around the lake – an exhilarating experience indeed! Afterwards you will stop for coffee and cake at the Alemannendhof Hotel. You will have time to relax and enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Titisee on the sun terrace. Return to the hotel for diner. (B, D)

Day 7 – Waldau / Lucerne: After breakfast, board your motor coach and head towards Switzerland. Relax and enjoy some of the most spectacular Alpine scenery you will ever see (you will stop for photos and lunch (not included). The blue and green colored lakes surrounded with the snow-capped mountains and green fields which are covered with various shades of wildflowers will leave you in awe. You will reach your hotel in the charming town of Lucerne late afternoon. You home the Hotel Luzernerhof is located in the city center of Lucerne. You will have time to freshen up before dinner at your hotel. (B, D)

You’ll continue on to Grindelwald, another exclusive resort village located right at the foot of the awesome Jungfrau Mountains. Here you will have the opportunity to take a cog railway to the “Top of Europe”. It is truly spectacular! Your return to Lucerne will be via the majestic Susten and Grimsel Passes….Alpine scenery at its stunning best! (B, D)
