Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy Day 1
Civitavecchia was settled in 108 A.D. by Emperor Trajan and has since faithfully served as a gateway to the capital of the Empire, Rome. Once the center of the ancient world from which emperors ruled over nearly all of western civilization for hundreds of years, Rome is still considered by many to reign over all other European destinations. Here you can breathe the air once breathed by great Roman gladiators in the ancient halls of the Colosseum. Gaze upon the very ceilings Michelangelo painted at the Sistine Chapel. Or visit a monument to both size and faith, St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church ever built

Sorrento, Italy Day 2
Found on Italy's famed Amalfi Coast, the city of Sorrento is set atop some of the Mediterranean?s most breathtaking cliffs. Close to Pompeii and a short boat ride to the must-see Isle of Capri, this quaint city will no doubt leave you wanting to return.

Heraklion (Iraklion), Crete Day 4
History is very much alive in Iraklion. The Fountain of the Lions, built by Morozini in 1628 during the Venetian occupation of Crete, dominates the central square. Today, the city's Town Hall is located in the Venetian Loggia, a building from the same era. Stroll among the shops and cafes surrounding the central square, or follow the old Venetian walls to Koules, a bastion overlooking the old harbor. Explore the archaeological site at Knossos and walk among Minoan findings displayed in the Archaeological Museum of Iraklion. Don't miss the Historical Museum of Iraklion, which houses findings from the early era of the Christian religion.

Chios, Greece Day 5
Filled with jasmine, wild tulips, majestic trees and intoxicating fragrances, this island boasts an array of natural beauty as well as the “Medieval Villages”, a collection of preserved Byzantine communities. Known as the “fragrant flower of the Aegean”, Chios is a must see destination for everyone

Istanbul, Turkey Day 6 | Day 7
In exotic Istanbul, it's easy to spend an entire day strolling through the grand Bazaar, exploring the famous Blue Mosque, or wandering through the majestic Topkapi Palace, with its gardens, libraries and 400-room harem.

Canakkale (Kepez), Turkey Day 8
Touching both the shores of Asia and Europe, Canakkale sits on the Black and Mediterannean Seas. Visit the ancient city of Troy to see the inspiration for Homer’s Iliad and a replica of the Trojan Horse. Once you do, you’ll understand why people have been passing through here for centuries.

Bodrum, Turkey Day 9
With its pristine beaches and historic sites, this South Aegean resort town is deemed one of the prettiest on the coast. Home to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Bodrum is the perfect place to discover both culture and beauty.

Fethiye, Turkey Day 10
Close to Oludeniz, a beach resort town known for its tranquil blue waters, Fethiye is known for being the center of great prominence, prophecy and culture during the Hellenistic and Roman periods. It’s now home to many ancient ruins from rock-tombs to Roman theatres – all awaiting your arrival.

Antalya, Turkey Day 11
This beautiful, ancient resort city settled in the 2nd century B.C. is home to many Byzantine churches and inspirational mosques. Take a step back in time into 130 A.D. and explore Hadrian’s Gate and the symbol of the city, “Yivla Minare”.

Limassol, Cyprus Day 12
Built between the ancient towns of Amathus and Kourion during the Byzantine period, Limassol is Cyprus' major port and second-largest city. It offers a variety of activities, museums and castles. The medieval castle built around 1000 AD is the most famous. Legend has it that Richard the Lionheart married his fiancée, Princess Berengaria, with its walls. The city is also known for its local wines; stop by a local taverna and try a glass.

Alexandria, Egypt Day 13
Alexandria is Egypt's second-largest city and its largest seaport. Athens (Piraeus), Greece Day 15
Your adventure in Athens begins five miles southwest in Greece's largest seaport, known as Piraeus. While here, be sure to take notice of what is considered to be one of the greatest contributions from the ancient Age of Pericles, the city's infrastructure, which today we know as a city block.
